I have the F3 version 21.8.4. Does it make sense to update to this new one? Something has improved for this model? Which version did you upgrade from?

From last versions, after upgrade, the device over heat and restart constantly, wiped cache and dalvik cache, + package_cahe, but doesn't fix always the issue, somebody could help?

Problem has gone after downloading and flashing a 3rd time.... Must have been a download problem ?

If you controlled md5 of the downloaded file it can't be the cause. Perhaps this recommendation have some relation with your problem? I mean waiting enough time letting the system to settle down after the first reboot? :

I can't get notifications for new messages in threema in this and the previous 2 releases. Before it was working fine.
In detail: in system settings i can enable ring tone and vibration, but there is already a hint inside the settings, that "changes will be ignored". In the app itself the tone and vibration are enabled. By double taping the lock screen i can see, that there is a new message.
Any idea?

Yes.
The previous two releases have proven to be unstable, as can be seen from this week's and last week's messages. The results have been unpredictable: some have produced bootloops, and some have produced errors in some apps (e.g. freezing), and also other errors have been reported. Some with no errors. Some people have tried downgrading to prevous versions. This may or may not be successful. It frequently needs you to format your data partition. Remember, these are beta ROMs.
[Edit: the last 'good' ROM before these was 21.7.28]
My honest advice is that if you want an easy ride (!), avoid these ROM updates until the instabilities have been sorted. If you are happy to experiment and try and work your way through them, then keep updating - as I am doing - and enjoying the challenge!
But do remember, if your data is important to you, take (frequent) backups.

Just a small tips : if u root, u can use the excellent "swift backup," i really feel its the best backup app, with data of course

facebook messenger suddenly crashes, can't login, clearing data and cache doesn't work. I tried to reboot and it worked again properly.
With version 21.8.11, when I play a video in chrome if I lock and unlock the smartphone, only a black page comes out on chrome and I have to close the app.
Managed to clean flash it and now every enhanced miui feature is there (after dirty flashing it with no success).
My only issue is the media unswipable notification (have applied the fish suggested in previous build but it doesn't work in that build apparently) and the lag I am having in notifications (when swiping down or left/right, everything is slow).
Any ideas?

Did you try the workaround for Chrome freezing, mentioned many times here during the last days
Will it still work if I downgrade to 2 versions back without bricking or corrupting my current flashing? Thanks.
In theory, you are required to format data when you downgrade, or it will bootloop. Sometimes people are lucky.
As far as I can tell, it is using some of your storage as virtual memory just like windows does.
The operating system uses the storage to swap out memory being used by apps that are open but idle in the background making more physical ram available to foreground apps that need it for an improved user experience
Dang, that is some pain there. I better wait on this week's upload. That camera issue is pretty hellish.
