Your Error is “installed the twrp“...
Who told you to do so?

Try booting blindly into Fastboot, attach the phone to pc and run Fastboot devices,

Does it show up?

If yes, read the instructions again with care to start over, good luck!

Hint, it's boot, not flash...

Nope, global Roms are always Fastboot Rom.

Custom Rom are usually recovery rom.

So what's is it gonna be? Global stock or Xiaomi.eu custom?

For the first you shouldn't expect much help here..

Nevertheless, how exactly are you trying to reach fastboot mode?

What's your expertise in flashing business so far?

Does the device show up in miflash ?
If so do you see it as COM<something>?

I want to instal the xiaomi.eu rom.

A few years ago I have flashed, rooted various phone with global and costum roms. But never had a problem like this time.

Voldown + power

Its strange that I got a black screen, even if I plug the power cabel it show nothing. With the Mi Flash tool i have tried to flash the offical rom but i got the message "cannot receive hello packet".

Regards

Yes it does, tried to install the stock rom (fastboot edition) but got the message "cannot receive hello packet".
OK.. then you cannot fix yourself. EDL and you need authorized account to fix.

Regarding the message, hold power button for 20 seconds, this will reboot EDL.

Hey, I just had the same issue today.

It's really weird 'cause I was working amazingly good till today after a Whatsapp call. I'm on Linux, so no MiFlash for me. I'm trying to download a Windows VM machine to give a try.

Could you enter on "Blind fastboot" ? How could you flash it with MiFlashTool?

Thank you in advance!

You don't need Windows..

Just copy the Fastboot binary to /usr/bin

Works even better as crappy Windows..

Amazing, So, just to be clear as I'm not an Wndows user... MiFlashTool and fastboot is the same right? Lucky me, my phone seems that can enter fastboot... I'm downloading the MI11 fastboot rom and I'll try to flash it now.

I'll let you know :D Thanks again!

It should be in your distribution.

Either sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot

Or yum install android-tools

Or manually grab the sdk and copy the corresponding binaries

It's native u know :)

Oh and btw there are usually .sh files for Linux flash.

THanks! I've just installed fastboot-tools and I can see the device on running fastboot devices :D

I'm still waiting for the rom download to complete, so once I can run it, i'll let you all know! Thanks in advance :D I'm keeping my fingers crossed :D

While I'm still downloading it, I just realized that my alarm is ringing now... So I guess (and i hope) it's a driver issue... If it was my main screen broken, I suppose the back screen should work normally right? Both of them are not responding so I'll try flash the stock version and hope :emoji_purple_heart:

Hey friends,

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I could flash the rom but still no answer. Maybe the video chip is dead, the phone "works", the alarm sounds, etc, etc, but there's video on neither screens.

I think I'll need to send it to warranty :/
