Is there a way to get Better MIUI Icon Mod working on MIUI 12.5?
I tried to do it manually, but couldn't find the themes folder on the system partition.

Or is it even possible to create a mtz file with these Icons?

Thanks:)

Hello! :)

Refreshing modified icons can be tricky on MIUI. ^^

This Magisk module is partially working, that's why I created a new version (v1.1) to remove useless/unused files and correctly replace the "miui_mod_icons" folder in System partition => Better_MIUI_Icons_v1.1.zip

== How to see new default icons ==

1-A) Open "Themes" app => In "My account" screen, tap on the "Icons" button and select and apply any icons pack you have already downloaded (apps icons only)

~~ If you didn't download at least one icons pack, then do step 1-B ~~

1-B) Open "Themes" app => In "Home" screen, swipe left (at the top) in order to see "Icons" (it's the last one of the list) => Download and apply any icons pack (apps icons only)

2) Go in phone's settings => Wallpaper & personalization => Icons => Wait a few seconds to be able to change the style => Select "By default" icons pack and apply it

3) Done!

;)

EDIT: After deeper test, it's not fully compatible with latests MIUI versions. :(

Thanks a lot, Poney!

Now I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro, I tried to use that zip you made for the Mi 9 Lite but it didn't work because of the TWRP access problem since Android 10. With this magisk module worked perfectly!
