I have my phone PIN-protected using the lockscreen function from MIUI. No problem at all with old lockscreen theme, however with the new lockscreen themes (tested on orange.mtz and decline.mtz) and after rebooting the phone, whenp you unlock it, the phone freezes and you cannot enter the PIN because the numeric keypad does not appear. Only thing you can do is switch off the screen but will not switch on again.
I ended pulling out the battery and using a backup with a old lockscreen theme...

Anybody with the same problem? Create a backup before testing!

damn! i didnt knew i have to delete theme1 too -.- so ive made a full wipe, and lost all my data :(

guys u don't have to do it this way ;)
There is easy go out from this freeze situation.
So when u stuck in lock screen just pull out battery and reboot the phone.
When its boot back into the lockscreen DONT SWIPE TO UNLOCK !!! just hold the " back button and press volume up button " this brings u into the dial where u can type a PIN.
So when u boot into the homescreen just go into the settings and change the lockscreen to the original and reboot.
I found this freezing lockscreen happen with some of the custom themes but not all ;)
Hope this help u

Ok I try it a few more times...
If it fails... can you pls tell how to delete the files in /data?
I don't know how to get in this folder

Edit: Nothing happens.
- Back + Volume up = nothing
- Back + volume down = nothing
- Menu + volume up = higher brightness or so
- Menu + down = screenshot

and thats all...

Solution (deleting):
- connect phone with usb
- boot into recovery
- mount /data
- on pc type in cmd "adb shell rm -r /data/system/theme1"
and "adb shell rm -r /data/system/lockscreen"
- reboot and be happy again :)

This bug only affect those who used reDARKen 2.0 theme lockscreen with a sim card pin.

For me, i took out the sim card, boot up the phone, i am able to unlock the phone without a pin.
Change to another lockscreen style from theme manager, then reinsert sim card and power on to get pass the sim pin.
After that, reselected the lockscreen style again.

It will only work if it stays without being rebooted.

Cheers

Pressing back and volume up not working for me.
This time was tested with the SlideIT lockscreen theme from Roniez (based on Slipslide) and I got the same result... screen frozen :S

Later I will try it again after updating to language pack 1b...

Go to Settings/Programs/Development Settings and check if it's ON. If not turn it ON and try again ;)

It's turned on ( Galaxy S I9000 ) and even if it wasn't I wouldn't be able to change it because I can't unlock the phone..
But fortunatly I had it turned on before this bug and it shows up
But still, PC doesn't detect it, i'm now trying with linux

In HD2 there is the same issue with the new lockscreen.
If the device is restart then the lockscreen freeze!!!

I just turn off the PIN code for the SIM card last night, and an hour ago after sliding to unlock... freeze again :S

Going back to old lockscreen theme... :(

Back+Volume Up work on Desire. Just if anyone wonders this has to do before swipping.

I'm using the Orange -lockscreen.

Have this problem been fixed in 6.24 version ?

Im on a Desire, and holding "back button + clicking volume-up" does not do anything at all..

Is there any other way to unlock?
