Miui Lovers!!! **1 Thing you hate about Miui Rom that you would like fixed??**

I would like a more functional email app. Actually, all I really want are two things. One: the ability to move emails into different folders. Being able to move mail from trash to inbox would be a great start. Two: receiving new mail doesn't remove the oldest ones from your phone.

Email is an AOSP app, sadly, MIUI doesn't edit it. That being said, replacing all the AOSP apps with official MIUI apps would be swell.

What a noob I am. I never realized there was an AOSP version and a Sense version. The AOSP is totally lacking IMO.

The only thing I could think of is last.fm scrobbling support for stock music app which is totally awesome. Now simple scrobbler doesn't recognize it. Pity.

My frustration is somewhat twofold. The "Recent Apps" UI (what comes up when you long-press on the Home button), drives me absolutely crazy, especially when I'm in landscape mode. There seems to be a fair amount of lag when switching orientations, and the recent apps implementation in MIUI doesn't have a landscape version. Therefore, whenever that shortcut is pressed while in landscape mode, it takes a while for it the phone to switch to portrait, and then wait longer for MIUI's recent apps implementation to pop up.

Also I really miss Cyanogenmod 7's music skipping feature - long pressing on the volume keys while the screen is off skips songs.

Oh yeah, that's true..

An optional app drawer. Like GO Launcher. I already think GO Launcher is influenced by MIUI, I just like how big everything looks in MIUI.

a little less battery drain would be nice somehow make it to run on less memory? because to undeclock you start to notice a lag. other then that miui is perfect almost everything is translated except the app with the arrow up and auto answer feature in call settings. great work guys

Option to remove clock in status bar, some way to incorporate over cm7 data and not have to wipe/factory reset would be sweet :p I'd like to just switch back and forth and use same apps and data, but hey we all have dreams

Definitely scrollable Widgets.

Such an old feature that a lot of launchers have miui should definitely have implemented it already

One thing I would love to see added to MIUI is the ability to resize widgets, just like you are able to do in Go Launcher and LauncherPro. I would use those launchers, but I like the design and features of the default MIUI launcher better, such as multi-touch moving of objects and the themed folder view. Other than the ability to resize widgets, the only other things missing are an optional app drawer and ways to save folders and their shortcuts, to keep you from having to rebuild the folders every time you start off with a fresh flash of MIUI...or just add the option of backing up and restoring your launcher settings. :p

I would like to have the ability to change the call answer screen gesture. Instead of sliding up and down for call answer/reject, I would like the option of left to right slide to answer calls. A mute option on the lock screen would be awesome, I think most people would appreciate that.

In the call and answer.. I would like to see the call button and a reject button.. simple as that no slide up no slide down no slide anywhere. B-)

I second that + I'd like to see an option to answer a call with trackball on my N1. That's probably mentioned in this thread earlier on but can't be bothered looking for it :)

It would be really great if the launcher home screen could flip to landscape like any other app instead of just being stuck in portrait mode. Most of the time my phone is on its side (except for during voice calls).

I would like to see this as well without having to download a different launcher system

i would like to see MIUI having support for applications that use Horizontal Progress bar
all the ones i use get's FC happens only with MIUI
i contacted app developers they said its a known problem and its miui not the application
they both said the same so it sounds logical to me
hope to see that getting sorted

Just thought of another idea, probably that has been already discussed. Why not let user not only backup themes, but save them. I mean letting user to create custom themes and give them a custom name.

when the screen is full of icons, sometimes the fade in and fade out effects of miui launcher lag so bad while opening and closing apps (especially contacts and sms app), it does not happen with adw or any other launcher. other than that, the rom is perfectly satisfying.
