Up to: 3.0.315.0 Xiaomi 17 new confirmed unlock

For anyone wondering I have an conversation with a
Tradingshenzhen support and their reply is this so be careful ordering new devices. They open sealed package somehow activate and update the device.

"Hello
you will not able to unlock it.

if we don't activate the device, you can't use it outside of china.

we do not warrant bootloader unlock
you will not be able to unlock it AT ALL."
I ran into the following issue (my fault, I know).

The phone is a Xiaomi 17 Pro that originally came with Chinese firmware. I unlocked the bootloader and flashed Xiaomi.eu. Then I decided to go back to stock, and while flashing via MiFlash I accidentally didn’t remove the “clean all and lock” option.

The phone flashed successfully, but now it won’t boot (bootloop), and the bootloader is locked.

Now I don’t know how to fix this issue.

I also tried running the script “Xiaomi+Snapdragon+8E5+One-Click+Bootloader+Unlock” from fastboot mode (only fastboot works), but nothing worked.

Do you have solution to resolve this problem?
Where or how did you get the Global ROM Xiaomi.eu for Xiaomi 17 pro?

check the codename for your Xiaomi 17 Pro in the list shown in that thread.
Xiaomi 17 Pro = codename pandora
ROM:

extract the ROM on your PC, boot your phone into fastboot by holding vol- and power button until the fastboot text appears and depending on your OS on PC (Windows, Linux or Mac)
for the FIRST INSTALL or installing it clean again in the future.
Windows:
windows_install_and_format_data.bat

Mac:
macos_install_and_format_data.sh

Linux:
linux_install_and_format_data.sh

Does anyone know of a solution or any other method to roll back to a previous firmware version? I've tried several Auth Flashes and even paid bootloader unlocking services, but nothing seems to work with the February patch.

"Hardware Downgrade Fails: We have confirmed that if you update to a fused version, even desoldering the flash chip (字库) to write directly CANNOT downgrade the device back to an older version"

Were you able to unlock it with the February patch?

Hello,

I have a Xiaomi 17 Pro running Android 16 with HyperOS 3.0.306.0.WBLCNXM.C06.

My current Android security patch level is 2026-03-01.

I am considering flashing the phone with a custom ROM / Xiaomi.eu ROM to get full Google services, Android Auto, Google Wallet/NFC payments, proper notifications, and better compatibility with global accessories.

More specifically, I recently bought a global Xiaomi Watch 5, but I am having issues connecting it properly to my Xiaomi 17 Pro. I had to set it up first using a global device before connecting it to my Xiaomi 17 Pro, and even then some features are limited.

This is my main phone and I use it daily in Norway, so I need to confirm the most important points before doing anything:

1. Which exact ROM would be installed - Xiaomi.eu ROM, official Global/EEA ROM, or another custom/modified ROM?

2. Will this make the phone behave like a proper global Xiaomi phone, especially with Google services and global accessories?

3. Will the rear display still work fully after flashing?

4. Is root required, or will everything work without root?

5. Will the bootloader stay unlocked, and could that affect Play Integrity, Google Wallet, banking apps, Android Auto, or NFC payments?

6. Will Google Wallet/NFC payments work properly in Norway after flashing?

7. Will Android Auto work properly without extra fixes?

8. Will 5G, calls, SMS, VoLTE and VoWiFi work properly in Norway?

9. Will notifications work normally without MRSS, and without manually allowing background activity for apps like Gmail, Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, banking apps and calendar apps?

10. Will battery life be better, worse, or about the same compared to the China ROM?

11. Will I still receive Android/HyperOS updates, and will security patches stay up to date compared to my current 2026-03-01 patch?

12. Will flashing erase all my data?

13. Can I restore the original China ROM later if needed?

14. Are there any important features, warranty/service issues, or risks I should know about before flashing?

Please answer specifically for the Xiaomi 17 Pro with Android 16 / HyperOS 3, not generally for Xiaomi phones.

Thank you.

@Folop
Your version of the ROM is patched, it is not possible to unlock the bootloader.
Ok, do you recommend i stay on March security patch or continue to update and check for exploits later?

Is there a way to downgrade security patch? I have heard trough som thing called EDL? Emergency Download Mode? And still it has the chance to brick it self or something?

Some have offered to do it for me in telegram for 150$, why is it so expencive? Is it even possible without Xiaomi dev tools?

Your device is patched, staying or updating will change nothing.
If you try to downgrade to an unpatched ROM, your device will be bricked.
This is the current price for unlocking, it can go down or up, or even no longer be available.

Okay, do you happen to know any trustworthy sellers that have a good reputation or that are legit?

And how would flash to eu rom if i managed to unlock the bootloader with help on current hyperos and security patch?

Will i have to wait for next hyperos eu rom patch from mifirm example 3.0.307.0 before flashing to ensure i update rather then flash the same version?

Thank you.

Noted that if you unlock the bootloader you will only be able to use a Xiaomi EU ROM, it does not matter the version since the bootloader will remain unlocked, this device does not have a Global stock ROM. For the unlocking, I am checking.

Okay, i understand that eu rom is a custom rom. There is no global rom and there will be no official global rom until Xiaomi releases it in some way either trough releasing the phone world wide or some other way.

Is "Riyu the flasher" a legit and known name or does he seem legit he has a yt and telegram a Polish guy it seems. He offers to do it on my March security patch for 150$ which for something done quite quickly in his vids seems a little steep..

Thank you for checking for me.

Riyu the flasher is legit? Also i found a service called hyperunlock, they seem legit? Seems like both are based in Bangladesh or atleast Riyu is. Some have talked about him on reddit.

Hello everybody any solution 17 promax security patch 1st april .Can we do something to unlock?

Hey folks. I have a Chinese 17 ultra, which I foolishly updated to 308. In the developer options I see a menu for bootloader unlocking with some instructions about the desktop app method. Does this mean that I can unlock and get Xiaomi.eu?

I'm tired of not getting notifications, I rely on the phone for notifications from my property's burglar alarm system. This is unacceptable.
