1.8.5 problems - no voice-to-text? Camera not working. No swype?

I'm new to MIUI - i love it, but i'm missing the following... (I'm on Droid X)

- The voice-to-text button on the keyboard. Does this exist? Is there a plugin i can install?

- The camera is not working. When I launch the camera, i get an error message: "Camera error: Cannot connect to camera" - the video works though. I tried to change the resolution settings, but that did not help either

- Is there any way to get Swype? This is one of my favorite android features, and I would hate to lose it. I'm not interested in other text features except for swype.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it!

I found this thread under similar circumstance.

I have found a fix for my camera already, although I had a somewhat different prob with it; Cam app would load, but to a blank screen. The fix was to go into camera settings and select a something other than the default (6M full screen) : settings > picture size > 8M(3264x2448)(4:3).

I don't use swipe, but I too am looking to get back the speech-to-text option.
