Facebook App Doesn't Connect

Hi
I'm using Redmi Note 3 with Miui 8.
I'm from Portugal and my Facebook APP was working smoothly. Today I came in vancations to Spain and since I started to use wireless here, Facebook wouldn't show images that weren't in cache. However it would send me notifications. So I clear cache but the problem didn't solve.
Then I decided to unistall the app and install it again. When I tried to login facebook send me a menssage saying that an error had occur and that I should check my internet connectivity. I tried to login from data service too.
I tried to install Facebook Lite but it doesn't login neither.
However, if I login in Google Chrome it works.

What's going on here?

I have a friend with the same problem using a mi4 and official MIUI global ROM. His Facebook app won't connect at all, but works in chrome. He hasn't figured it out yet.

You could try to install Facebook Lite and see if that changes anything.
