New Wallpaper Carousel - Can't Uninstall

In the Official Global Dev ROM you are able to just uninstall the "Wallpaper carousel" app if you don't need it and don't want the icon on the lock screen.

But, at least in 6.10.13, I am not able to uninstall it. Any fix?
I'm using a Redmi Note 3 Pro.

Eu roms are based on china roms, not global roms. Could be the reason.

"Wallpaper carousel" it's a system app in Xiaomi.Eu roms,so only way to remove it is with root

It would be a nice feature to have, if it could be added to the EU Rom.

I am afraid that is not gonna happen as eu is based on China rom and china rom has Wallpaper Carousel as a system app

I am having the same problem (v6.11.3 @ Redmi Pro) but it is even worse, as even when your phone is locked someone can change your lock-screen-picture (privacy issue).
