Issues on Xiaomi 12 Pro (zeus):

• Overheating, worse than on MIUI 14.
• Battery draining, also worse than on MIUI 14.

Issues on HyperOS:

• Startup takes too long on HyperOS about 50s to a minute (on HyperOS EEA Rom it was 20s).
• After restart, updating to newest ROM phone reaches 50-60°C.
• Throttling issues.
• Battery: 4-5h SOT during normal usage (on MIUI 14 6-7h)

Bugs on HyperOS:

Bug list:

• Music Player buttons on Spotify are in low quality.
• When connected to another device in Spotify then close the app, the Music Player is still in the notification centre but showing 00:00 ( you can't get rid of it).
• Discard change pop up in lockscreen editor is in light mode even though the phone is in dark mode.
• Notification reply bar on WhatsApp or whatever is cutted.
• System wallpapers on zeus are missing.
• Cleaner uses a different icon when showing cache amount and has no animation when closing.
• Icons on the dock randomly disappear when flicking too fast through your phone.
• When deleting all background apps, the pop up that shows how much is cleared has that blur even though “Advanced textures” is toggled off.
• When receiving multiple messages on WhatsApp the notification badge is different than the one when received one.
• No animation when unlocking the phone using the filters from the lockscreen editor.
• Notification centre info like time, date is missing in landscape orientation.
• When you are in the drawer, scroll till the icon in the corner is half showing, open then close. You can see the app icon clipped in the categories on top.
• When spam opening an app in drawer the drawer moves with the app window.
• When you are in a folder spamming an app you can see some kind of flickering in the background where the blur goes away while spamming the app.
• When opening the Mi Video app then closing it you can use the video toolbox on your home screen.
• When going from the Control Panel to the Notification Centre transition animation is missing, MIUI 14 had it.
• When you are in the lockscreen you go to the notification centre then swipe up to unlock the phone with face id the blur stays for a split second then disappears
• There's a bug with "Advanced textures" enabled: whenever you swipe from the top to access the cc/notifications while being in a folder, the blur combines together. When closing Control Panel/Notifications the blur disappears on a weird way.
• When you swipe up while holding to go to the recents/background running apps the blur doesn't appear until you let go.

Suggestions for HyperOS:

• Make it so you can change your home screen wallpaper from the lockscreen-editor instead of just changing the lockscreen wallpaper.
• Remove the 60FPS limit, for some reason a lot of games on HyperOS are running on 60FPS even though on MIUI 14 they were all on 90FPS/120FPS.
• Ability to spam open multiple apps at the same time like on 12.5 but with HyperOS animations.
• Smart Navigation Bar, Navigation Bar that adapts color, disappears when not needed instead of being black or white (reduces screen burn).
• More widgets like the ones from the China ROM.
• Maybe add Leica Camera App for some devices, other ROMS like EvoX have it on zeus.
• Accurate SOT Counter which resets after being charged.
• Maybe add the MIUI 14, 12.5 Control Centres since some people prefer the older ones.
• Add by default MIUI 14 or older Icons- and the Poco Icon-Packs pre-installed.
• Add system apps updater like the one from global ROM, so you can update system apps more easily.
• Make hidden settings accessible like Extra Dim, Sunlight mode, Notification Log/ Notification history, Multiple Accounts, etc.
• Add color theming, for example on, control panel settings, apps icon, toggle slider in settings (similar to google material you but it shouldn’t be forced on).
• Make it so you can swipe from left or right on a notification to clear instead of only swiping left to clear.
