Redmi 4 Freeze

From around 3 weeks, my redmi 4 is freezing suddenly.
I can't do nothing by touching the screen. The only solution I have found is to press for about 8 seconds on the touch and wainting starting again. It is frequent now.
No manipulation of the rom or something else.
Is it a defect? I have bought it on the Mi store.
any ideas ?

Which rom do you have installed.
Try HM4X_V8.2.18.0.MAMCNEA_v8-6.0 and see if the freeze remains.

If it's the same I had, then it has to do with VoLTE.

From this version you can update to the newest M9.

If not, please provide more info about rom and phone.

Thanks to answer.

I just get the MIUI global 8.2 stable. Exactly the 8.2.4.0 (MBEMIDL) update with Application system of the phone.
I have a Redmi 4, version android 6.0.1.MMB29M of 2017-03-01.
the CPU is an Octa-core Max 2.02 GHz and RAM 3Gb
This is what I see on the Infos in Parameters.

I am going to read how to do an update of the HM4X_V8.2.18.0.MAMCNEA_v8-6.0 that you wrote me. But I am a beginner and i am afraid to do something wrong.
