Ok to bad it's such a hassle. It's strange that Windows 8 does it out of the box and not Ubuntu. I think I'll just stick to windows then. Ubuntu worked really crappy on my laptop anyway :)

I tried this the other evening using latest rom from this forum and it worked great. Note that the MHL adaptor for galaxy III is using a different standard. I bought a cheap adaptor and it worked fine. Hope xiaomi releases an official adaptor. Sent from my MI 2 using Tapatalk 2

Everything works awesomely on mi MI2. A little lower AnTuTu scores though. 20878 on 3.1.11 and 21508 using official v5 ROM. Other than that it is butter smooth. All apps are working so far.

Hi! I have the MI2 and have serious GPS issues using google maps. Is there some block in the ROM for google maps? I am using ROM 2.12.17 and when I use "GPS Test" it takes upp to 5 min to just find a satellite. Then I can get a fix with google maps. All location services are enabled in settings...
