So the gps fix works for Google Maps on Android Auto wireless, but waze is still wonky. This only happened in MIUI 13.0.8 so it could be the base firmware. Hopefully an update fixes this but at least there's Google Maps for now

Anyone experiencing the GPS apps Waze and Google Maps hanging on Android Auto wireless? Somehow it cannot lock on to GPS. I had this issue even without android auto too but after a restart it resolved. Might be linked to miui 13.0.8? Trying this now to see if it helps...

following up on this. i understand if you flash Mi 11 Ultra China set to Global Rom (with unlocked bootloader), it doesn't pass Safetynet check? So Netflix might not work properly? Does Android Auto work? can anyone verify?

Question. After u debloat your phone of miui apps. If you want to reinstall any of these miui apps is it possible? E.g Mi cloud so you can backup your layout. I reinstalled one from apkmirror but my Home Screen Backup keeps showing "Can't Load status" :( Also the gpu driver updater in getapps...
