After updating from 8.1.6.0 to 8.1.7.0 with TWRP 3.0.2-3, both sim cards are not recognized anymore. I tried it twice on a Mi5 and once on another Mi5. Returned to 8.1.6.0, problem solved. Strange, but in this case I better stay on 8.1.6.0.

Exactly the same here. Since the upgrades to all the versions MIUI 8 EU roms, no 4 G (also Vodafone nl). Now I am working on a downgrade to MIUI 7. With 7 everything was working fine.
