my recommendation is use the official ROM. a lot of distributors are using the so called multi language ROM where in fact is lousy custom ROM (random Ads pop up, bloatware, freeze screen, etc). better to get Chinese ROM, applied for unlocking and clean install EU ROM. the flash could be tricky...

I agree with Matija, the point is comparing with other cheaper devices. Mi5 has definitely strong points in other areas (speed, design, etc). but, for GPS (at least for me and some other users), it is lacking alot compared to other devices. It still can work. but not as good as cheaper devices...

Have you tried flashing the official ROM instead of EU? maybe it helps. if not, then the only possible answer is hardware issue. there may be some wiring or battery issues.

That's not normal at all. I have all bluetooth, snyc, wifi on and no issue. try factory reset and do a clean flash. I had similar issue in the past. it may be caused by dirty flash. dont forget to back up your data first.
