MIUI 14 22.12.8/16

Hello, after installing with the data_format script coming from crDroid, I get this:

Find Device Storage Corrupted, Your Device is Unsafe Now

What should I do?

EDIT: As per other posts that you can google for this error:
I downloaded the global fastboot rom, and got the persist.img from it.
Then in TWRP flash it with dd if=/sdcard/persist.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist
The image wasn't sparse, so I didn't need to use simg2img as other posts about this

Push notifications do not work correctly. It doesn't matter if it's Signal or Aquamail or others. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
Have already uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Appropriate permissions set, but nothing to do. I had no problems with stabile-image.

*Xiaomi 12 mit (XM12_V14.0.22.12.8.DEV_v14-13-fastboot)
*fresh install
Mi 11 , too.

On mi 11, I had whitelisted trough adb and without battery optimization Gmail, WhatsApp and others but notifications didn't come through or did with delay.

I had to remove face recognition in order to notifications work properly.
Had the same issue, but indeed after removing the face unlock, notifications are back to normal. Thanks for the tip!!

Thanks Devs for the new release to Miui14.
Standard fastboot method to update, with no data wipe. Everything is mostly fine on Poco F3.

Things I've noticed so far:
- Some notifications are delayed (no face unlock set, using fingerprint)
- I leave wifi on all day, every day, battery drain is a little more than usual (noticeable, but still lasts a day of use for me, so not too big of an issue for me yet)
- Using PIN for screen unlock, phone vibrates on keypress, but "haptic feedback" for "touch" is set to off and phone is on mute. (May be a bug?)
- Animation speed on "fast", feels very good, I like this new feature
- Overall, a good update/release, phone does feel snappier and I'm sure these minor issues will be solved in future releases.

Thanks devs and everyone, enjoy the festive season!

Status so far on Poco F3 when it comes to bugs:

- Night mode is broken for some cases (for example zepp, duolingo, edge)
- Battery consumption for Wi-Fi is around 16%, second only to screen
- System launcher also has battery consumption above 10%
- The mi home widget for screen -1 became unusable, I tried to remove and re-add and it doesn't show in the list
- The weather status next to the clock doesn't get updated automatically anymore. It used to update every time I connected to the internet, now it does only when I open the app
- Media notifications have a weird colored overlay, making them hard to read.

I confirm that...

"- when switching from wireless buds to the INTERNAL speaker and vice versa the system crash, and goes straight to lock screen (picture attached)"

The Android 13 brought to default settings the new Gabeldorsche Bluetooth Stack that could be the source of this issue. To be confirmed...
I reproduced the same steps as you and the Poco F3 system crashed twice when listening Spotify Music... BT => Internal Speaker and Internal Speaker => BT

EDITED: I had the same issue with BT when using the Waze navigation with BT connected.

Please check,
Same issue here on Mi 11 Ultra:
When switching audio from BT earbuds (Sony wf-1000xm4) to internal speaker or viceversa, system crash, stops playing and returns to lock screen.

Can I do an update from MIUI 13 stable to 14 weekly or do I need to wipe everything?

Which is the appropriate *.bat file you have to execute

- if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time
- if you change from weekly to stable (recommended)
- if you change from stable to weekly (recommended)
- you will loose your data -> make a backup
windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat

- if you update from weekly to weekly
- if you update from stable to stable
- you will not loose your data
windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat

Another bug on poco, idk if its on all phones.
Using ReVanced YT, sometimes when i lock screen and unlock, it stops background play and the app completely restarts, not even remembering the video I was on. Havent had this on last miui13 update, and i havent updated revanced since.
Edit: I tried removing face unlock, it hasnt done the thing yet, might be the way to solve it for now.

is there a known issue with auto brightness, search didn't find anyone else mentioning, but on my 12s ultra the screen is very dim every time I open until I use the brightness slider. everything else is working great for me

How does that make sense, the file is even bigger now.
> Optimization - Improved system architecture comprehensively boosts the performance of both pre-installed and third-party apps while saving power.
Sounds like marketing. Energy consumption is as before, might even got a bit worse

How do I activate the flash sensor feature on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra phone?

It's copy-pasted from official MIUI 14 changelog. It doesn't have to make sense. Yes, a lot of marketing.

Dude this is closed beta version. It is useful to see the stable version

USSD window looks strange.

I'm still wondering if anyone managed to upgrade the Poco F4 GT-Ingres. It doesn't work for me - before the script finishes running, the process terminates and I have to reinstall EU Global V13.0.12.0 Fastboot Rom

ROM for ingres has been downloaded 475 times, so yeah, I think someone has managed to install it since you are the only one reporting otherwise.
