Yes, just clear dalvik and cache from twrp after flashing, you'll not loose anything.

Testing on my Mi Pad 1 and Mi4W, seems all ok, smooth and very fast.
Lag with Youtube on Mi Pad but its a problem reported to developers long time ago.
