I'm also still suffering the same issue. Nothing since the last 6.3.24 Kitkat rom for 2014813 has worked for me. Install completes but boot gets stuck in mi.com screen. Tried 3 different TWRP's, factory resets, everything I can think of! So if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Uhh, I don't know if I will find the file. Let me check. but I can't take a very old version because my partition are merged in order to use mashmellow.
My MiNote has mashmellow but mypcsuite actually can see my phone only in fastboot and give me the option to install stable or dev. So I think will work but the doubt is if the bootloader will be lock or not with dev version installed by mypcsuite.

I am using marshmallow miflash ed with 2014 version. It works well. I installed another brand new mi4 2 days ago. If you Don t find I can give you a link to take it.

I have collected incidents and details (I hope this is not an issue for this forum, or please excuse me if so):







Different platforms but the same issue - unable to install 6.3.31/6.4.7 - stuck on boot logo.
But can successfully downgrade to 6.3.24 and below.
Wiping cache&dalvik does not help.
nemo81 tested other TWRPs with the same result.

From my side can add that it takes much more time for TWRP to perform his part of process for 6.3.31/6.4.7 before reboot.
6.3.24 is being processed much faster.

I can provide some logs, but have no idea what to do..

So there is no reply or solution or anybody knows why is this happening?

Yes it should, because OTA update isn't released, so you have nothing to detect.

I'm working on it, trying to install cina dev rom with MIFlash (but i'm facing issue), than TWRP and than last 6.4.7. I will let you know within the day

So how to update correctly redmi3 from 6.3.31 to this version? Last two my updates by updater app have to finish with full formatting

Full Formatting? How did you do it? The best solution is try it and when phone restarting after update to TWRP again, you must flash TWRP 3.0.0 manually in fastboot and then in TWRP install update and everything is ok, you dont lose your data ;-)

i have a question guys, in my device (Mi4) inside SD> TWRP> Backups, there's a folder called Mi_4 guess this is the backup i did.

BUT there is another one called MI_3W. is it needed? because it's 3.34GB.
