then in this case you were able to find/report but the remaining time was too short/too risky to fix.
They knew about this bug, but they did not fix it for some reason, whether it happened or they did not find the reason they did not know ... stop weekly updates for such a poor reason? This is the beta version I would like to remind you that no one is forced to install. The mere knowledge of the error does not remove it, how do you know whether easy to patch in 2-3 days for so many devices.
If You want help,please apply to Alfa or Beta Team China and reports bugs.Developers do good work, its impossible to find and fix all bugs in nightly and weekly updates. That beta.

It's not very logical to me for releasing a new feature with annoying bug to the public..just saying not complaining..
Speaking of schedule, sure they have a schedule for releasing weekly rom, but as far as i remember they never told us their schedule to release this new grouping feat to public so no promise breaking if they don't release the new feature this week..
But then again, i have no idea what other reason for they to do this, but maybe a simply warning in the full changelogs about this bug will be nice ....

I wasn't talking about not releasing the weekly updates, i was simply saying better not release the new feature since the bug is really annoying for a lot of people.
Of couse i know what beta rom are and of course nobody force me to install rom, but releasing a rom with known annoying bug is not really a responsible act and i strongly believe it's not me who feels like this. And btw i have been using dev roms for not less then a year, many bugs i 've encountered, but this one is really annoying hehe
I will stop discuss this matter from now on since some people started to show some negative emotion haha i don't like non productive and hot headed discussion.

same as zeork, this is a beta dev, it is expected to release with bugs. as I know, only KILLER bugs makes a release drop.
Now they have a so called 'stable' channel that does not differentiate enough in quality with beta dev while it is any way more stable (but not stable enough)
if the scanner is mandatory they I would say revert to previous, otherwise stay with the current it have to be your decision.
Think of how much would have to be suspension releases roms nighlty and weekly because of each bug even a little, if quickly find it and think about how much would it was not releases xiaomi.eu because there would be even more bugs. For example, in 7.12.28 xiaomi.eu have lost "morning reports" in alarm in China further is ... think how much would complain, laments about posts with requests for new ROM ... what was a multitude posts as because of the error of the SIM card suspended update for redmi pro ... it's not easy to work, complain about anyone can I just for you, it seems that is such a all simple ..
All blame China dev, but even Xiaomi.eu dev do mistakes, bug etc... Why They release Xiaomi.eu rom when They know about bugs with double notifitation or that Thet missed a "morning reports" . WHY THIS UPDATE ITS NOT SUSSPEDED?

I never talked or complaining about xiaomi.eu, they always follow china rom, that's i respect very much..
Morning report is an useless feature for me and i believe many people share the same thinking..
And what are those big caps letters are for? I'm using mi max 2 and i can see clearly proper letter .. hehe

Such a truth devs Xiaomi.eu know about bugs in china and have and remake nighlty roms from monday to thursday and have them on their devices and yet they spend their own roms, for example, they knew about 100% of these double notifications, why they spent? After all, it is such a cumbersome and simple to patch bug? They could not patch it and put in good roms? And how many users, like vultures on Thursday, is getting into the appearance of roms and immediately without any thought installs them, and how to update is delayed hundreds of questions and links and one big lament. But what is the fault on the Chinese side and already beta tram and devs are the worst ...
Why did you install this rom yourself? After all, bugs reports are public and you could have seen that someone was already reporting? Why do not you do downgrade until 7.12.21, there is no error and the changes are so small that when you return from 7.12.28 to 7.12.21 you do not need a wipe data

It was a great 2017 with Xiaomi.eu, the developed work every single week, the new servers with OTA, the immediately fix and reupload on weekends etc on a developer rom is priceless and it gives us lots of fun and lastest news.

It seems that some changes (probably in boot.img) in the last several dev roms caused this problem, people are reporting this ..

As i said in other thread, i received the weekly ota update to 7.12.28.
All works without any problem at all, perhaps "just a little bit battery draining" but i think maybe peanuts.

You have 3 options (bottom right side) including relocking bootloader. It's up to you.
