I think it's just logical they spend time focusing more on their new devices, since they are still selling these...and need to attract people to buy these...it's just the way of doing business...

Hoping our old devices to get new Android (7 or 8), while they are selling Mi6, Mi Mix 2, Redmi 5 / Redmi Note 5.... maybe it's just us that hope to much ...

But I like to have Android 8 on my Mi Max 2 since it's the same generation as these Mi6 and Mi Mix 2...

the problem is not just for the Italian language. I read that the Dutch and Portuguese language also has the same problem. so it's the update that's not good. adjust it

This is not an official rom from Xiaomi; in addition, this is a weekly developer, so there might be issues and this thread is here to report them. If you don't want to have issues just wait for others to report bugs and then decide whether installing or not.
Stop complaining and thank the developers for their work!

Redmi note 3 / mi 4x ('c' variant is considered newer ?..) <- Android 6 only....
Redmi note 4 / Mi 5 ('c' or 'x' variant is considered newer ?..) <- Android 7 only...

I confirmed this " Look back" in 7.12.7 close beta have issue, i reported this bug yestarday.

Mi4c has android 7.

'c' variant is considered newer than it's siblings haha so Mi 5 may not get Android 8, but Mi 5c or Mi 5x will...?

I understood the point. They have less user outside of China, because of that reason they start to publish new features on global roms. Generally first few releases have many bugs and delays or suspentions. After for a while, they start to put new features into Chinese roms.
Thats why we need to wait some new features...
