I have the solution for the problem of google play and downloads "waiting wifi". in google play configuration "no automatic upgrade". Then in Configuration .. applications. Google play .. stop it .. erase data ... uninstall updates.
Install google play apk from apkmirror, in my case "Google Play services 10.5.53 (440-151019969) (10553440) Arm + arm64 no dpi" Mi max 3gb 32.
Restart. All fine.

All works great

Now the free ram is 1.3-1gb, before with 7.1.5 was about 600-700mb free with same apps, etc

I have problem with "Waiting for WiFi" in Google Play too.

Ok i have a definitely solution for the wifi problem
But need root permission
1-Dowload lucky patcher
2-Go to toolbox and choose "patch to android"
3- check 2 options
"Signature verification"
"Disable verification"
Uncheck "only pach dalvik-cache" and apply
4 - wait and your phone will be restart
5- open lucky patcher tap on talkbox again and "install modded Google playstore"
6- choose latest version and install
7- your phone restart again
And... Done my friend...
No wifi problem

After a couple days, I identified that the Quick Charge is in fact working.
So, for me this ROM is working perfectly fine and I do not get the random reboots nor the back button doing the properties button at the same time (this would happen every day. Only a power off/power on would do the trick).

Now, I have one question.
I'm trying to get access on some files from some applications, but I cannot see anything using the MIUI explorer, nor the Windows Explorer. I go to the folder structure, but where you should see some files, etc, it's empty.
Anyone knows how to see the files?

on my own rn2 long press on central button launches Google Now...
...unfortunately if I say "ok google" it doesn't work...but I suppose it's a matter of assistance setup that I don't know how to set...

Make sure the google app is set as your "Assist & voice input"

I changed ROM two days ago from 7.3.30 to 8.2.3.0 eu. stable and I have the same google market 7.6.08 N-all with no "waiting for wi-fi" issue . I have mimax 3/32.

On this build i felt a little downgrade on the Mi5s fingerprint sensor.
It takes way more time than 2 builds before to recognize and unlock.

MI 5S the fingerprint is worst! The WIFI and LTE/3G connection are worst, and take a while to find the network. Please correct this.
