Your phone is Redmi Note 4 not 4X and its Nikel, let's start with that.

So you mean I can download a ROM from this page for Note 4 and flash it? I tried but didn't work with the procedure indicated in this page... It's confusing to me because the names of the ROMs don't indicate de processor. Standard Note 4 is probably Snapdragon and that's why it didn't work...

Xiaomi Redmi Pro
I unlocked my device but i dont know how can i flash xiaomi.eu weekly rom. This is my first xiaomi.
You can find tutorial here: Home -> Forums ->Xiaomi Lounge -> Mi General -> "Tutorial How To Flash Miui.eu Rom [tutorial]"

Apparently there is a Redmi Note 4X (Helio x20 Mediatek) 4GB / 64 GB available, but it's also a "Nikel".

Found a little info on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X forum but can't post links...

There's a complete flashing guide for my phone on this page:

en.miui.com/thread-565784-1-1.html

I would try to follow this method (different from the one posted here, trough TWRP)
But I'm working on windows 8.1 in my pc and there's some drivers posted only for windows 10.....
My device still doen't appear as a mass storage on my pc...
I don't know what to do, I just want to have my language on my phone.

And did you enable MTP from notification area?
Or why do you need it to show as storage on computer?
If you have unlocked your bootloader officially and installed twrp recovery, then yes you can install xiaomi.eu rom.

Yes, I have unlocked officially the bootloader, and I flash twrp recovery flashing via command window on my pc. and turned on MTP when connected to pc.
Anyway I would do this to transfer files in normal mode, but I flash twrp when on fastboot mode.

I tried to flash from twrp with several ROMs from a SD card, as I can't transfer files to my device. None worked (stables for Note 4, Note 4x. The thing is probably the ROMS I download from MIUI.EU are for snapdragon devices and mine is a mediatek 4 / 64 GB (Helio X20) (I don't know what nikel means....)
I think there should be different ROMs for different processors... and there's not different names for the ROMS for Note 4 or Note 4x (with diffrent processors in each model... ) in MIUI.EU

What a mess. It's too late to return my mobile, otherwise I would do it... my language settings involve a lot in my mobile apps (appart from the menus)

I will appreciate your help...

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone.
One question on the Rom installation. I have the Miui 8.3 version installed on my Mi5c but now I want to update with a new stable Rom (8.5.3).
Should I install it again with the fastboot or the Mi Updater application choosing the option “Choose Update Package” can be used?
Thank you for your help

If you came here to xiaomi.eu why do you download your rom from miui.eu and not from here xiaomi.eu ?
Every phone has it's own rom so it matters what rom you download, you have to download the correct one.

That's what I'm trying to do in order to install a MIUI with my language, but no one works via TWRP (flashed through USB) and ROM. I have a Note 4x 4 / 64 GB Mediatek (Helio x20) but Note 4 or Note 4x stable ROMs from MIUI.EU can't be flashed with zips stored in SD card on the phone. A few red text lines appear when trying to flash them.... I suspect it is because these are for snapdragon devices... but I'm not sure....
Any help?

If you have Note 4 4 / 64 GB Mediatek (Helio x20) then your device is NIKEL - HMNOTE4 look for rom in 7.6.8 weekly or stable. In TWRP: Format data first, reboot to TWRP again flash the ZIP file (hmnote4) then wipe cache, dalvik and DATA - reboot to system...

Hi wanna ask something

If i want to move from the eu dev rom to eu stable rom, do i need to do a clean install? Or can i just simply do the dirty install via updater app?

Please kindly reply thanks!
