Yeah honest I can see a little bit more drainage of battery, I'm thinking to come back to the previous version

Sory for noob questions. I have the same problem with my Mi4s. I try updating from android 5.1
1. What will happen if I would install with unofficial unlock? Why I could properly install for example
MIUI 8.2 6.8.18
also with such requirements, with unofficial unlock but couldn`t in this ROM?
2. What TWRP is more suitable for android 7.0? I use 3.0.0, when I flash TWRP_aqua_7.0 img and reboot to recovery nothing happend. I tryed diffrent versions and only one Repack from 4pda work fine but I still have a mistake during flashing this ROM. My TWRP says that he didn`t understand some commands, something like that.
3. What the reson to flash this ROM from older version if I wipe cache/ ART cache/Data and internal storage?

I got a prolem with Gmail notifications, it seems to work randomly...
Sometimes the mail received is notified by the notification sound, aswell as the Gmail icon appear on the notification bar and a badge appear on the icon of the app, but sometimes (actually almost everytime) none of the notifications above works and if I enter in the app and I update the page
(scrolling down) then I see that one or several e-mails are arrived without been notified.
How can I solve this problem?
Other notifications are ok like Whatsapp, Telegram and so on, only Gmail is giving me this little trouble...

Whatsapp notifications still bugy.
Weather app still with a couple of text views not aligned. Maybe you should use weight?

Apart from that, absolutely great job. Congratulations to the devs. Improved performance, battery life, very stable. Can't find any major flaw apart from the notification thing, which honestly is minor for me.

Mi cloud backup data corrupted on MI5, how delete???

Mi Max Hydrogen same problem here , it started to show and still persists from the two last weekly updates. Impossible to delete corrupted data and make new a Homescreen and app back up.

Thanks for your aclarations. I explain my case.

It all happened because I tried to Update from MIUI8 Lollipop to MIUI 9 Nougat. This won't work in one step, and you will get boot loop!
- Need to first upgrade to MIUI 8 Nougat
- Then upgrade to MIUI 9 ROM

The problem is that after first step (nougat MIUIv8) my bootloader got locked (normal situation, and I can't proceed to the second step (MIUI 9).
Now, it is said there is a problem with MIUI servers and I can't unlock my bootloader with "Current account cannot unlock this device" message in MIUnlock tool.

Fastboot oem unlock command does not seem to work anymore.... (Even with OEM toggle is set to on).

Any recommendation? Wait some days until I can unlock it ?

I can confirm this. I have the identical problem. Not sure what to do, we can only hope Xiaomi will fix their stuff.

I haven't got a battery issue with previous version (8.1.25). It lasts approx 50 hours not heavy use and with 5 hours screen on

Hi to All,

Is is just me or I feel the oreo version slower then the nougat on mi 6? Everything works well but this version seems laggy. I did a clean install so from that point everything is ok.

I'll wait for feedback.

Thanks for the answer man but i tried several times and also tried other methods to do it but the corrupted file can not be deleted It says removing for about 10 15 minutes and then it says try again and it goes like that in circles again and again but the corrupted
data that takes my 1.10gb of cloud storage still remains and the worse thing is that i can not make a new backup..
