I found one big in last release: there is not a System Settings icon in the right upper corner of the screen. Xiaomi Mi5.

I had the same errors too on my Ugg, but mine booted normally and I forgot to install Magisk, so I mounted them manually and reinstalled everything again. That's why I said it.

Yours seems to be an advanced issue that's way over my expertise. Try tagging a developper to get them to notice your post...

EDIT: Are these dirty flashes?

My first try was a dirty flash. When that didn't work (after trying 3 times)
I then choose wipe factory settings. And that didn't work out well either.

Update:
I then tried to reinstall last weeks version (after full wipe) but the problem persists.
The warning "unmount of /cust failed; no such volume" after extracting rom.

And after restart:
Bootloop ad infinitum

@ingbrzy : do you know what I should do to to solve this? Thankyou...

Fixed it - the sound/light notification permissions had been somehow been disabled, enabled them, reboot & all is now good in Mi 5s world now - phew!

Try to choose "format" in TWRP (if you have to type "yes" to proceed, you're on the right way).
After you formated your device, you have to copy the latest rom on your device (use the windows explorer or the "adb push ......." syntax to copy the rom on your device).
Afterwards you can install the .zip rom file normally with twrp.
This should solve your issue.

First of all: Thanks to all contributers for all the hard work.
I am using a Redmi Note4x with the Dutch language.
This ROM downloaded in minutes, installed without any problem.
One request: Could you please add the option for Cell Broadcast or Governmental Messages again. It has been around in some of the last versions of MIUI 9.
I knowhow because in the beginning of June I recieved the national test-message.
It would be greately appreciated if someones could find time for this.

I've updated from '8.7.12 v2' to '8.7.19' and I noticed that the shortcut to the settings (gear icon) no longer appears in the notification bar...
Is this a bug or was it removed?
