8.9.20/8.9.6 fingerprint bug or issue

Since I begin to use EU rom on my Note 3 Jason device, I'm occasionally unable to unlock phone using fingerprint. This was not an issue with official global rom. Most of the time I see "Couldn't processed fingerprint. Try again" message on lock screen. This happens if I don't use the phone for some time. Of I lock screen manually I can use fingerprint without issue. So I think this is a software bug rather than a hardware one. What I tried so far:

- Remove and re-add fingerprint
- Remove fingerprint, clear dalvik&cache in twrp and re-add fingerprint

Anyone have this issue or may give some advice?

Yes, I have magisk 17.1 installed. Is it cause of the problem?

Is read about Magisk and fingerprint issues on web. Read that fingerprint authentication in Magisk might be the problem. I had fingerprint auth enabled in Magisk. Now disabled it. Let's see if this solves my issue. Thank you for your help @ingbrzy

Status update:
I'm now on eu stable 10.0.4.0 rom. It seems that culprits are both Magisk fingerprint authentication and Google Play fingerprint authentication. Disabling these make fingerprint work normally. Removing Magisk isn't the solution entirely. Will test further.
