How about only allow bug reports on a clean flash, not an update.
Or at least to always write if it is an updated system or a fresh and clean flash with format:data/system.

Example: The issue with google pay. All these bug reports would have been much more helpfull if users would know if this occours only on some updated systems or on fresh installs, too.
BTW: Thanks for the info on the second post. I cleaned data, just in case, to prevent looking terribly stupid in front of some strangers at the local shop.

As a heads up, this seems not to be compatible with China 9.1.25 on Mi 8 SE. Coming from a fresh China install and flashing this over it boots to fastboot.
 
Google lens update has been appeared at Google play store, and icon appeared, when update done.

But, Google lens does not work fine, with error message below.

Google Lens will be removed as a system app from Mi Pad 4 and all Oreo devices in next release because of vague compatibility issues.
Any user who wants to use Google Lens can install the app manually from Play Store anyway.

This issue is new but not related to eu rom. I checked russian rom and it resulted the same effect.
I finished successfully flashing after changing TWRP (from compacted 1227 version to normal latest one).
But I am not sure this to be the root cause.
Solution given some post ago by @mnikolce may be fine.

I run the Mix3, with custom kernel (Androplus 0.9)
Will the update as following be possible?

1. flash new .eu file
2. flash kernel androplus again
3. root with magisk

any problem to be expected?

I can't find any "Google Lens" in Play Store.
??

It has been one of the more fun gimmicks recently, we have had some good laughs at what Lens "finds".

Vague compatibility issues?

No problems in Mix1, Note 2 (or Razer Phone 1).

Edit:

Ok, I got inspiration to try installing Google Assistant on the Max1, and from within it one can activate Lens.

So no problem apparently.

Sounds good to me.

Think about switching point 3 and 2. If you root first, the kernel has chances to do things as root. For some kernels it is necessary.

I dirty flashed the update. Tried magisk 18.1 and 17.3 and both times it fails. When the phone booted in, everythings seems fine and then the screen goes off. After a couple of seconds the screen comes back for like the same time it was black. You got a little notification that the "phone searching" has crashed or something like that. I'm not using the English language on it so I guess its not the proper name for it.
You can solve it with flashing just back the rom you just downloaded. Without Magisk it works fine (not like the last one).

I confirm the video function is not working in redmi 6 pro. The short video works. There is a solution with install China dev, reunlock and reinstall xiaomi.eu but I prefer to wait for fix. Thanks eu team.

Will try tonight.
I'm not sure for 2. and 3., while you will have to flash root after flashing androplus again anyway, but i might 1. root 2. flash kernel and 3. root again?

by the way, many of the problems on the last build were fixed for me using androplus.
i think many people running into issues with magisk, busybox, youtube vanced etc., while you can't modify /system with the original kernel.

androplus let you install busybox etc. without hassle.

i use ianmacd magisk 18.2 without problems so far on the last build
youtube vanced also runs smoothly
 
Dirty Flash on my Mi8 worked without isses and Im really happy that I can use gpay again ! Thx to the Developers ! The new 4k 60fps Option is too good !
Only Bug which I could find so far is that the WiFi sometimes doesnt auto connect, but I can live with that so far :D

on global stable it's there

And 4k 60 fps?
On the next update will be moon mode? (only to know...I'm not asking ETA)
