An update on encryption and mi6.
I managed to update my mobile iron only on Oreo...
Created it thete.
Dirty flashed.
Edited fstab only.
Reboot, and bamm it is working...
First boot did take a little longer than usual.
But I have encrypted pie mobile iron...

It works. You don't need any module.
Install magisk 19. Disable all camera module, and install the last build @zilan posted.

And add this 2 lines to the build.prop

persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled=1

It work's fine on my mi6

my recovery mode dosent work anymore after updating to this. i cant flash another one or boot to it ether.

potentially yes, with mix 3 worked, maybe also with other device. Before be sure ur gps is on.
Disconnect from wifi n open google app...give some minutes 1 or 2 that mobile fix ur position
Exit from google app leaving it in background n tell ok google
For me work so...now u can connect again wifi.
It should work for 30 mins/1 h...then stop to work again
I think is something linked to gps, but i could also mistake n is another one the reason...i tested on more than one mix 3

Thanks! running on MI6 , upgraded from 10.3... everything working smooth, no issues at all.
camera works great.
Notice tho - I installed EU 10.3 on clean phone with full format and wipe, no root, no magisk

on MI9 after the update I lost the TWRP from mauronofrio
After reinstalled it and the china twrp several times in fastboot mode it's impossible to reboot in recovery mode.
Someone has a solution?

In order to remove encryption, you need to clean and format data and SD card...
Then install a new rom.
You can backup photos and I poryant stuff on a PC using USB.
But this means you lose all data and content on your internal SD card.

While my Whyred had the previous rom 9.4.18, I messed up so badly that I had to wipe System and install again the rom and everything else.
But since this new installation, the 3-way reboot feature is missing. Everything else runs fine.

I hoped it would be brought back by the new rom 9.4.25 but it's still missing. I can only reboot to the system.
The only way to reach the recovery or fastboot is to shut down then starting up while pressing a volume button.
Of course, this old way to reach recovery or fastboot works fine but it's less convenient than the three way reboot feature of xiaomi.eu roms.

How could I set it back?

You can ad this from developer menu... Advanced menu

No need to touch SD. Only internal memory.
Just did it because of encryption.

Fastboot does work.

Tried choose recovery as button combo
I am running mi9 weekly and have TWRP I believe 3.2.3
