There's no TWRP folder after wiping, what I have to do?

After wiping and formating you reboot into recovery and you copy the EU rom zip file from your computer folder to the phone internal memory folder (or any folder or TWRP folder if you have one visible?).
and then you install the zip file within TWRP.
If this doesn't work and flashing EU rom revert to fastboot you have to go back to a fastboot oreo rom and restart the process with 1102 twrp.

Can somone tell me which twrp is working for Mi 9? I get my device today and want to flash th new update from here.

a wifi problem with Mi6, android pie (first installed with dirty flash from last android 8; then installed with clean install: for both same issue):
1. At home, when I'm connected to a first wifi network "A" >>> all is ok.
2. Then I move to another room and wifi shitch from network "A" to "B" >>> ok working.
3. If I come back on the first room, the phone try to reconnect to wifi network "A", three times, but no way to connect and [in wifi settings] the network "A"stay in "saved" status. To reconnect, I must reboot the phone.

Any idea?

How did you update ? i'm struggling with TWRP version that always encrypt my storage, force me to sideload via ABD a new bootloader, format all and install the new ROM, every single weekly update...
Which TWRP are you using ?

thanks
Had it the same.
I replaced/reloaded TWRP (recovery-mi9-3.3.0-9.0-b8.img) and it worked fine.

Just read your problem and tested the same situation, i have no problem at all, Mi6 switches WiFi as it supposed to be.
I have no suggestion for your case exept a complete new installation with the latest china Developer MI Flash ROM and then again switch to eu ROM.
This is the best way to start with a clean ROM, but i would only do it if nothing else helps.

thanks for your test and feedback.

damn... "a complete new installation with the latest china Developer MI Flash ROM and then again switch to eu ROM" a very expensive work for a small problem.
I'm quite sure it's the best try, but sincerely at the moment I have no time to do all this work.
Let's wait some other feedback-idea...or fix in a future release

Same on mi6, random reboots to recovery when not using the phone, mostly at night when sleeping (which is bad for alarms and work...) .
Sometimes, when using the phone, the screen flashes on/off and vibrates then reboots to recovery.
Sometimes it keeps working or shuts down after flickering tho.

Any idea how to fix this?

Just flashed over previous version. Unfortunately a clean install is not an option at the moment, otherwise I would of tried already.
:( so no idea how to test...

Try a clean install when you will have time

Which TWRP You have ?
Please stop asking for that because nobody is in the same rom situation.
If you have doubt, just download all TWRP version (1102/1217/1227/0423) and rename them in your ADB folder like TWRP1.img, twrp2.img etc
Then in fastboot mode you test them one by one and the first you get booting is the one you must install for flashing EU rom.
cmd in fastboot mode from adb folder;
-fastboot boot twrpX.img (X is the number you added to all different files)
Then enter and wait for some seconds.
My guess 1102 and 1217 will do the job!

Is it secure to use a TWRP which boots successfully for flashing ?
There is no version for 6X which boots besides pie, but I found a version alocated for another phone which does boot, but I'm not sure is it secure to try flashing with it or not.

Here in question all these TWRP version have been tested and only one version will boot successfully with old rom.
M6X is a very sensitive phone and you know why!

This recovery boots on 6X! but it is for Whyred not Wayne. I did boot it but didn't dare to use it for Flashing.

Are you sure it's not a rogue app and not ROM issue? That's why a clean install was recommended.
Maybe try to remove a couple of recently installed apps? Did you upgrade to Magisk 19.1? Issues were reported.

Or just take a nandroid backup, clean install and test for a day. If you still have issues then it's a ROM fault. If not then restore your backup and search deeper on what creates your issues.
Try also reverting to the last ROM which you believe gave you no issues. It might as well be a hardware issue. Many variables there which will need time on your part to test. We cannot test for you :)
