the secret for magisk is a full wipe, install the ROM 9.5.9 via TWRP, and after install the rom, immediately install magisk 19.1.zip...! Works fine for me.

On Mi Mix (1) after the first reboot I am getting serious problems:

• GSM modem does not work. Sim card is not recognised.
• Screen brightness slider does nothing.
• None of the tray buttons does anything. They are not even clickable.

After the second reboot it all works again.

I had followed this procedure and all went good.
- Delete every magisk modules installed;
- boot in twrp and insert as request your pin code for decrypt storage;
- wipe cash and dalvick and flash update
boot in twrp and insert as request your pin code for decrypt storage again
- after first boot, reboot in twrp flash magisk 19.1
- after boot reinstall magisk module.

There are not this Settings in Default apps on my MI6 with Android 9.

I have Mi6 on Android 9 and I see these options under "Default apps". You need to go to "Manage Apps" and use "⋮ " option on top to get to "Default apps"

Thank you for update . For mi 8 and magisk 19.1 do to flash the new Twrp modified 3.3.0-0423 wzsx because with 3.2.0-1208 bootloop and work fine.
mod notification notch work after flash again.

Manage Apps, upper right corner 3 dots, default apps.. I have it on pie powered MI 6, also tremendous battery life!

Hola a todos, perdón por mi ignorancia, pero a penas la semana pasada, en el momento de la ROM xiaomi.eu soy new pero as like for to update to this version? "Actualizador" o Tengo que descargar el archivo zip de los enlaces de arriba e instalarlo como una ROM normal (tomando en cuenta que se me prestó todos mis datos). Espero alguien me ayude con la duda,

unistall magisk
wipe dalvik/cache
flash rom
flash kernel (if u use alternative)
flash magisk
reboot.
