If the line is missing in mi8 se, I think it should be added. So as to cover all the bases, it does not hurt to add also "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1". That should do it.

Install this App: Build.PropEditor and add / search a line persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 on the bottom ( infos see here ). Save und restart. This worked for me.

If you download miui hidden settings app and head into device information and testing and then into phone 1 and 2. Change the network mode to auto or to LTE/UMTS

For some reason the default setting is 2g/3g preferred

hola, ya lo he solucionado, con xposed para miui 9 y miui 8 tweaks , y funciona, puedo cambiar el tamaño de los iconos, darles sombra, profundidad y una serie mas de cosas, es fabuloso, gracias por todo
