Xiaomi MI 9 MIUI 11 9.9.27 latest.
Floating things dont work ....
Example, the call of whatsapp, the call of messanger, the call of google duo, all the floating things dont work.
When you back from one of this call to "desktop" the call disappear instead to show the call in a little rettangle.

If you want you can do
via TWRP
Dirty Flash The 9.9.3 and backup the modem
after that wipe cache/Dalvik Cashe
and immediately dirty flash the 9.9.26 (Flash the magisk zip if the you have and you want it)
After immediately restore the modem that just before it was backup
and then Restart (reboot system)
and you get vowifi

or you can download from here

modem_xiaomieu-9.9.3 (working vowifi).zip

drive.google.com

and put it to folder storage//TWRP/BACKUP/xxxxxx (where the serial number device)/
and restore that modem

OK, thank you, but I can still use duo and other WiFi video calling apps no problem, I'm still a bit new to this,can you explain a bit about what I'm missing or what won't work if my volte and vowifi is unavailable, thank you

Yes you can but I recommend you to clean flash 9.9.27 since 9.8.1 is android 9 and 9.9.27 is android 10. Just to avoid bugs but you can dirty flash but I don't recommend

Maybe, but u need to wait until the Devs incorporate the mi9 pro 5g

Problem with calendar: if i try to insert Reminder, Anniversary or Birthday Event, i have a popup that invite me to select an account, but all i select doesn't work and i can't insert these options..in the top bar when i press + button to insert an event, i can see that calendar app try to find "Mi Calendar" calendar, but it's NOT visible in the list, also if it's configured in the phone.
So, with this bug, i can only insert events in calendar..for now i'm forced to use another calendar app...i hope it gets resolved soon.

Its android 9 with miui11.

It is Android 10 but only for a few models... In OP you can check which models are under Android 10 or Android 9

Open ROM zip file, there folder recovery, inside file twrp.img.

I reflashed the phone with miflash and it's working now but every time I try to install this Rom it gives me that error there must be a step I'm missing
