According to the description for Tiny Call Confirm, there is a setting called "ACTION_NEW_OUTGOING_CALL" that needs to be activated in MIUI ROMs for it (and similar apps) to work. Of course, it doesn't say WHERE this setting is. I've been through every settings page, and I've scoured the 'net, to no avail. How do I activate this setting?

could you try allowing it via superuser, haven't tried it, but some permissions are automatically disabled or blocked by superuser

I would of thought this would relate to the Manifest.xml?

Yeah, that doesn't look like a public facing setting. The ALL caps indicates its a permission to be placed in the manifest as Mark said.

Yes, it is a permission. The point is, MIUI blocks this permission by default.
MatthewChen was correct, you need to allow the app access via SuperUser. You don't even need to go into the Superuser app; the first time you make a call, once you press "send" (or whatever), it generates one of those "It may be risky that ____ is requesting ..." popups.
Looks like the dev is worrying people unnecessarily!
