Advice On Mi Box 3 Purchase

Hello.

I want to get a mi box 3 with 4k capabilities off ebay:

how can i tell the difference between the mi box 3 and 3s, does the 3 also run marshmallow and have voice control. Ebay does not specify if its 3 or 3s

description of one I want to order:

I want the best mi box i can get

Could anyone advise me on any known issues with this box

Does it have wifi issues, connectivity, speed ??

Ive read it can struggle to playback 4k content, Is this true ?

Any advice would be greatly welcome. I want to order this soon.

Ask if the model on sale is the MDZ-16-AB...

Make sure your TV has HDCP 2.2 for 1080p videos from Netflix and HDMI 2.0a (with HDCP 2.2) for 4K videos...

Hey, thanks for the reply. I went ahead and order this on ebay. I did not get a chance to ask the seller what model it was, but it had orange packaging and looks like the 2016 version, Is there an earlier model with 2gb ram and google voice control.

I think I figured out my confusion. There is a mi 3 international version and a 3s which is not yet out internationally. The 3s seems to have the better specs, such as Amlogic S905X processor the processor on the mi 3 international is just named quad core

Yes, I believe you bought the correct version (MDZ-16-AB) with the SoC S905X-H from AMLogic...
