Android 7 For The Redmi Pro?

I was trying to find out whether or not Android 7 will be coming to the Redmi Pro officially, but I found sites that said it will come as well as some who says it won't.

So I was wondering if you guys have any info on this.

No not true when android 6.0 announced they talk about MTK processor don't support and in reality support it
Same for 7.0 I hope and sure

According to quora. com/What-are-the-hardware-requirements-for-running-Android-7-Nougat helio x25 supports Android 7. So it is possible

so can an dev say if this will come or never?

It depends how Xiaomi treats the Redmi Pro. I have a feeling it was never given a high priority and I don't think they are working on any substantial updates for this model. If it was a Global edition, then maybe. I think we should only expect standard software MIUI updates (including "security patch level") without touching the core Android version.

That is such a shame, clearly this phone is a model with high interest levels in Europe. Xiaomi should wake up and see that..

Even update to miui 8.2, the redmi pro isnt in the list
