Android auto on HyperOS


Same happening to me...

I'm on Xiaomi 12 cupid with latest hyperos xiaomieu stable, anyone experiencing this with android auto wireless or even usb?

Normally connects but Bluetooth connection becomes unstable and phone too and then hyperos reboots itself asking for security pin again and then connection becomes impossible. If restart phone and head unit maybe connects fine again until Bluetooth becomes unstable again...

But!! If Android auto connects, again even usb or wireless, and switch off Bluetooth quickly after android auto screen appears on head unit, android auto works perfect and phone response are normal. Obviously not Bluetooth calls but phone and head unit with android auto running without any error.....

Today I tried poco X5 pro with hyperos 1.0.2 eea ROM BL locked without any problem

On my socrates i still not get te AA working.
It connects but after a while it disconnect wtih a notification saying "the phone is not responding". then i try to reconnect in the notifications by the usb functions - (only for charge) (for image files) or the one i choose - i think it says for data transfer but after a while it disconnects again displaying the same error "phone not responding"
i tried disconnect BT after it conects but it connect again automatically.
My wife redmi note works perfectly.
don't know what to do and it is very annoying
 
I have a Xiaomi 11 light 5G with Hyper OS version 1.0.3.0.UKOEUXM. I'm trying to enable android auto notifications access but I get the error restricted setting (for your security, this setting is currently unavailable). Can someone help?
 
I have the same problem with Android Auto with my new Poco X6 Pro on car Suzuki Vitara 2022. My old phone Samsung A53 work well in my car.It looks like a problem with the new HyperOS.

After connecting the phone to the car, the infotainment screen remains black and does not respond to touches, as is described on attached image.

same problem here with a Suzuki S-Cross and the new Xiaomi 14T Pro...black screen and the touch doesen't respond...but I can hear spotify music, and if i press where the microphone icos has to be I can ask for Navigator and I can hear the Street indication from google, so it seems that is only the video connection that fail to estabilish...any suggestion?

Same problem here. Also Poco X6 Pro on a suzuki vitara 2019. Redmi note 10 works correct. Seems a problem with hyperos 1.0.12.0. Please fix.
 
Poco X6 Pro with Global HyperOS 1.0.13.0.UNLMIXM still has a non working android auto.. Unbelievable that such an important feature(for me the most important feature) is not working on HyperOS 1 for over a year now. This will be my last Xiaomi phone.

You do know that no one here is from Xiaomi, so saying that doesn't mean anything and also, plenty of people say that on the official forums and they also don't care...

The rom used here isn't typically Global HyperOS. The xiaomi.eu devs usually start with CN version and customize it from there. This means that the majority of problems within the base ROM itself are passed through to the users of the custom ROM as well unless the devs spent time trying to fix it themselves.

If you really want android auto to work, maybe try actually using the ROM of the forum you're complaining in as I don't have issues with xiaomi.eu ROMs and android auto.


PS: you're also complaining about an issue with your Poco X6 Pro in the Xiaomi 14 device subforum, so not only are you complaining in the wrong forum, but also the wrong subforum. Not entirely off-topic, so credit there.
