Invalid Android System and Other are both very high. Together they account for almost 50% of the total battery usage, while Screen is only around 9%.

Hi,

I’m using a Xiaomi 17 Ultra on Xiaomi.eu HyperOS ROM and I’m seeing unusually high battery usage from Android System and Other.

Device / Setup:
Device: Xiaomi 17 Ultra (Global Version)
ROM: Xiaomi.eu HyperOS 3.0.308.0.WPACNXM
Root: Yes, Magisk
Network: 5G enabled
Usage today: Mostly TikTok, Bluetooth/AirPods and normal daily use

Battery stats:
After a full day, battery went from around 100% in the morning to 14% at 19:56.
Important: I also took a nap for about 2 hours from around 15:00 to 17:00, so the phone was mostly idle during that time.

Current battery stats:
Android System: 1650.55 mAh / 29.42%
Other: 1096.31 mAh / 19.54%
TikTok: 1568.29 mAh / 27.95%
Screen: 503.73 mAh / 8.98%
Google Play Services: 85.99 mAh / 1.53%
System UI: 76.84 mAh / 1.37%

Android System + Other together are almost 50% of the total battery usage, while Screen is only around 9%.

What I already tried:
Yesterday Android System was even worse, so I ran:

cmd package bg-dexopt-job

The command finished successfully. Battery life seemed better in the morning, but after a full day Android System and Other are still very high.

I have also already disabled com.android.updater, so the Updater should
not be the cause.

My active Magisk modules:
iOS 26.4 Emoji Font
Leica Camera Enabler
Modded HyperOS Launcher
NewUI Package Installer V2
Play Integrity Fix
Tricky Store
Vector

Question:
Is this Android System / Other usage normal with TikTok + 5G, or could one of these modules cause a wakelock or background
drain?

Since com.android.updater is already disabled, should I try disabling Vector, Modded HyperOS Launcher, or Play Integrity Fix / Tricky Store first?
