yep it looks like the backlight of cheap lcd tv's :p
But it wouldn't annoy me enough for sending it back to repair xd

Well, I could live with this... but I paid 107€ for a original or at least good quality screen, and waited 3 months. And I don't like supporting cheaters! So I will try to get my money back.
The worst thing is that I could have bought it for 80€ and replace it myself and I'm 100% sure the results will have been better, and in less than two weeks
So now I know I could work in a repairment service xD

One more thing (sorry if I'm "occupying" this topic :p) I've just realized that the screen is badly set in the frame. 3 of 4 corners shows the screen above the frame. I've added the photos. Maybe this is why proximity sensor and LED doesnt work.

Is it normal?

Is that cm11? Cm11 doesn't support the first info block and shows 0 everywhere

This seems good thread to ask,why Xiaomi MI2S is clocked at 1.7 Ghz but Samsung Galaxy S4 with same chipset at 1.9 Ghz?

same chipset? S4 has exynos, not qcom...

EDIT: ok, there is the I9505 version with qcom, but it's APQ8064T and not APQ8064

But MI2S has that same chipset!
APQ8064T
It says that on numerous sites or everyone is wrong I guess and its just market hype.

It's a new revision of APQ8064T then.
BTW I tried to Overclick mi2s, but it seems we have the same problem as MotoG.
It doesn't matter if freq is 1.5GHz or 1.9GHZ, the performance doesn't change.
Seems like QCOM protects SoC's against OC.

Qualcomm does not protect they SOCs,they just force you to buy better device in this scenario S4 over MI2S even through they are running completly same chipset (money is the reason I guess)
At least I would like to see GPU overclock to 450 MHz.

Nope they really do and they call it "screening":
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52979781

Its not protection, why would they put that silly thing into hardware layer when its not possible to end user to modify CPU clocks?
Very simple as I said in previus post,to make money.
Its better to sell same thing at higher price and changing just few lines of codes.

MTK did same thing by providing so called turbo edition.
Same chips,different clock speeds.

Just to ask,do we have low level RAM access on MI2?
Also did you found a parts of "screener" on this device,at least to check if device has it enabled or not.

Looking at your XDA post it looks that GPU might not be affected by it.

I think that qcom configures this via qfuses or sths similar.
But to find the exact difference we need two identical devices - one screened and one unscreened.

Xiaomi Mi2s

What does mine say?

''Sweet" What about mine?; Dude!
