I've also avoided the "original" batteries for this reason, do you think the battery I bought is old?

I have 5 batteries for my Mi2s, the three aftermarket and the two of them are the original and the big one blue with 3200mah. The three non-genuine are one nohon, one no-name, and one "genuine" orange. The orange is the worst. The Nohon one keeps 1600mah, and the other about 1500 mah.
If there is a small chance to find a good battery for this mobile, and you find it, please share your perfect catch... I am still waiting for the miracle.

I also have the 3200mah battery 
but i use a lot and now is dead.
I use the 2 batteries in the picture that I posted some time ago in this tread, both were manufactured in 2013 but I found some 2017 batteries on AliExpress
Unfortunately I think that a new battery can't make the miracle

7.5.18 I suppose. I use stable 8.2.1.0, not perfect but ok.

dont even think about it. i tried for 20min.. it sucks really, laggy, slow, notifications dosnt arrive, .. hope next update gets better..
cant change volume while playing music. music apk doesnt work(dont recognice audio files), after i open it i cant even use youtube, spotify, nothing like that.

I dont get notifications with Stable. Even with autostart enable.. back to last miui 8 with volume glitches and low autonomy. Hope yo get a new phone soon...
dont know why, but im trying xiaomi.eu again and works fine (even with apks restored by titanium backup ) and 2 mods from ******* rom (cant use that because system free space isnt enought) and its goes really nice!
the fuking glitch while listening music still persist.....

Strange, I don't have this problem on stable...
My brother bought Mi6, in a month I will take his old Mi4 and my Mi2s will be free for testing.

With 7.9 im having issues with notifi too.. im getting tired of this to be honest (solved by reinstalling WhatsApp)

Audio in last update is a bit lower, Hope It comes back Next Friday. Glitches still exist but much less than before. (Dolby atmos is always a good choice to improve audio quality)

Hi there! I have the same problems of battery drain on my mi2s with both developer and stable versions.
I bought a new genuine orange battery (production date 2016) this summer on AliExpress, but it drops from 30-40% to 0%. I tried to calibrate it without success
, so I have put the old one again that is quite good yet. In addition, I bought also a charging port replacement, so I can try it about the fix mentioned above!!
Anyway my concerns now are the WiFi and network problems on both 8.2.1.0 and the 8.1.2.0 stable (I downgrade with the hope to fix them but still present). Mobile Network is really slow, while WiFi isn't stable at all because the connection is always present but frequently it doesn't exchange data, so I have to switch off and power on it again. Has someone these problems?

Music glitch still present and battery drain to, no considerable lag rom is smooth, boot and power off time is little bit improved (I think).
Anyone have try it?

guys with 8.1.2 : have you tried to record something with the mic from the earphones? i cant send whatsapp notes, or record with the miui app without having a really noise sound that makes it impossible to hear.. is like a neumatic hammer
