I'm facing serious battery drain with WiFi enabled when connected to specific routers (my dorm and college) with 802.1x EAP authentication. My phone is awake for like 1-2 hours every night and loses up to 15% of battery, compared to 1-2%/night when connected all night to different router. Is there any way to reduce the battery drain?
I'm using Redmi 4X, flashed latest MIUI 10 EU ROM, custom kernel. (had the same problem on stock ROM and stock kernel)
Wakelock that is probably related to this (qcom_rx_wakelock) is blocked by my kernel, but that didn't help, batterystats now just shows that phone was woken up by "unknown" wakelock.
