Battery percentage not too accurate!!!

I'm currently using Captivate MIUI 1.6.3.

I have been using MIUI ROM from the version 1.5.13 (2011/05/13)
And I was disappointed by the fact that not one have reported this bug
or have fixed this bug...

Anyway, for what I have observed...
Battery drown really fast from 100~80%, and noticeably slow down afterward...
Please fix it, so it's showing up almost exact percentage of the battery~~~~!!!

P.S. Sometimes, battery only charges up to 98/96%!

If I remember correctly when your battery is charging and reaches 100% it stops. It doesn't start charging again until it goes all the way down to 90% BUT it still shows 100 so people won't freak out about their batteries being damaged, not charging and what not. So if you picked up your phone from charging at 91-92-93 etc % it appears as if the first 20% drown really fast, while in fact it's been only 10-15.
There was a very detailed thread about this on XDA but I can't seem to find it (hangover google-fu ftl).

tl;dr not a bug.
