Hello, i just ordered a mi4 (2gb, 16gb, 4G wcdma, black) at Spemall. An 'old' phone, so i wonder if the bootloader is unlocked or not. If it is i will have to ask Xiaomi permission to unlock the bootloader. If it is not, which i think it is, then i want to upgrade the mi4 from android 4.4 to 6.0 miui 7 and then put miui 8 on the phone.
Somebody know about the bootloader being locked or not? I asume they're locked only on the new launched devices, this year.
Spemall can't tell me. That's why i am asking here.
