Is the bootloader unlock for Xiaomi 15 doable?

Your task is not to get permission from the community, but to link your device to your account. I want to say that even if you are rejected by the community, go to the developer menu (mi unlock status) and click Link device. It worked (from first click) for me from a box from the store. I didn't even go to the community that day. well, then the usual scheme: miunlock -> 72 hours of waiting, again miunlock - DONE

i have had the phone since march 5th, i have tried every day at 00h gmt8, super punctual, to apply for permission in the community, i have level 3 user, and i can't unlock the phone, with the xiaomi 14 it was much easier. i am starting to think about returning the phone, i have had 8 xiaomis in a row and i have unblocked them ALL when i get home to use ONLY xiaomi.eu.

Are you sure about that? Maybe you had permission, but you didn't know

another day, applying for permission to unlock in the xiaomi community app, at 00h00m00s and limit quota....

i only have 4 more days to return it if they don't let me unlock it,

P. D: at what point have we normalized paying to unlock a Xiaomi phone? are we crazy?

Guys, applying for unlock permission IS WORKING, but for whatever reason they're giving the authorization but still showing the "quota try again" message.

If you've been trying to apply for permission for a while you need to go to "developer options" on your phone and link your Mi account.
If it works then that's how you know your account has unlock permission, and you can now use mi unlock to get your bootloader unlocked.

Give it a try.

Do you think I would have paid for it if it worked? I tried with 2 accounts for days. If there is no permission, you try to connect in vain. It keeps redirecting me in Mi Community.

Last year, they gave us permission to open until April 2025. At the end of the year, they also took it away, which is a bit interesting.

It's especially frustrating that they can't even answer.

That's not true, i've tried to apply for permission like 8 times this year, and i read that sometimes the permission is given but still shows the "quota limit reached", so i tried to link the xiaomi account and it worked, now waiting on the 72 hours to unlock.

I must also say that the 8 times i applied for permission i used a non-xiaomi phone (samsung), which according to information from another forum is said to make obtaining permission easier, so that could have helped too.

hmm since march i cant unlock... always dont have permission

Not for getting permission in the community app but you have to be on a cellular network for binding in the unlock status in dev settings.
So you can't unlock a tablet without a SIM? From what you're saying, it's not possible.

I was talking about a phone as were in a phone forum. I have not tried with any Xiaomi tablet. I have always left them locked especially as you can only unlock 1 item with each account.
