Hi!
Install TWRP via fastboot (link below) and full wipe. Then install last MIUI 8 rom (link below).

TWRP Mi3(cancro): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759888017
Last dev rom 6.6.23 (cancro) Mi3: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424942089

An example tutorial for TWRP install: http://www.stechguide.com/root-and-install-twrp-recovery-on-xiaomi-mi-3/

Full wipe means internal memory too?
Yes, everything, all data. You can try upgrade to MIUI 8 without wiping.
If you upgrade to MIUI 8 without wiping, make a backup in twrp before upgrading in case of issues!!!

Always get Error #7 !?
What error 7?
Did you wipe all data in twrp and now trying to install rom?
If so, do a reboot of your phone and go back to twrp and then it will ask to allow modifications. After that retry to install.

MiFlash latest china dev rom first to get new partition layout, then instal TWRP and latest xiaomi.eu rom with wipe data/dalvik/cache.

Ok, full wipe done. Same Result.
Handy says: Target: Xiaomiu cancro......user release keys
Failed to extract dir from "system" to "/system"
Updater Process ended with error: 7

After error 7, did you tried to reboot in TWRP? After reboot should go!
Make the reboot with TWRP, not with power button!

it´s still twrp 3.0.0.0.! Tried with another twrp 3.0.2.0....same result!
I really do my best! I hope that solution will work, must work!
Just flash china official dev rom and then install TWRP. Wipe all data (go in advanced options and select all)! And finally flash xiaomi.eu rom.

OK, maybe solved the problem. First I have to install 5.12.17 to get from 4.4 to 6.0! After that I should be able to install 6.x.x.x
I will try and give you answer

Ok bro! Try this!
Install TWRP! Boot into TWRP!
Go to wipe-> Advanced Wipe -> Wipe Data ->Wipe Cache -> Wipe Dalvik
Go back to Wipe -> Full Wipe
NOW REBOOT RECOVERY!
Now install xiaomi.eu rom zip!

Hope this works!
I too faced similar problem! This helped me out!

This step is needed if previously you have not done a single update to any marshmallow rom! If you have already migrated to 5.12.xx from 5.12.17, then don't do this!
It might brick your phone if the marshmallow partitions are already created and then you revert back to 5.12.17

Finally I did it, almost.
Could flash the China Dev Rom. Now I try to flash xiaomi.eu
Shoul work.
Thanks a lot
