Clock widget which shows date

Guys,

I am new to Miui having replaced the stock ROM on my LG Optimus 2x because it was rubbish and not being updated.

Miui is great. I love it.

I have a question about the 2x4 clock widget which shows the short date under the time.

I live in the UK and even though I have changed my date format to dd-mon-yyyy the date on the widget always shows mon-dd and there is no option to change it.

Am I missing something here ??
