Compass in nexus one

Why compass apk is not there in nexus one rom?

I've never had the MIUI compass on my G2. Still nothing even after 1.12.16. I've noticed that com.miui.compass is in the list of my deleted apps in Titanium, but I never deleted it

I have build 1.12.9 on my Droid Inc. and i have the compass app. It might be phone specific? I'm not 100% sure about this.

I checked the miui.us rom for nexus one and it has the compass apk. I just ported it from there.
