So, I have ordered myself a Redmi Note 4X (3gb/32gb/Snapdragon 625) from banggood.com, I am hopefully expecting it within a couple of weeks. I live in the UK and as you'd imagine, theres not many Chinese import phones available, so everything is going to have to be bought through aliexpress, banggood or gearbest etc.
I think it would be a good idea to install the ROMs from here, as I wont be needing all the chinese bloat that i am expecting to come with the phone, plus with it only being the 3gb model, i am hoping it will free up some much needed RAM and Storage space.
Are we best sticking to the latest MIUI 8, or take a chance on the MIUI 9? Is there anything else I should also do?
what are the possibilities of getting Android 8.0 on these phones, as i know the RN4X comes with Android 7 installed?
