Default Account for New Contacts and Calendar

In the stock Motorola ICS rom there is an option to select the default account for saving new contacts and appointments/events when input from the phone. Here are a couple of screenshots:-

Is this feature able to be ported to MIUI? I have tried replacing these apps in the rom, but experience f/c.

Current rom version: MIUI 2.8.10
