Defy+ on ICS won't boot

Hi,

Just signed up to see if anyone can help me with my crashed Defy+. New to these things so don't really know where to start.

I've got a Defy+ with Miui ICS that I got 2nd hand. It was working perfectly until last night when I changed the battery (keep a spare so do this regularly) and after that it won't boot beyond the Moto 'M' and the Miui screen (that keeps looping).

I've tried pressing vol-down and power, but nothing happens.
Vol-up and power brings up the bootload menu, but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Any idea what's going on here? Even willing to get it back to factory ROM just to have my phone back.
