Hi,
I've HTC Desire S with MIUI 2.4.13.
I've an issue with camera (frontal and rear);
when opening camera software, image from camera hangs for about 2 seconds, than it works for 1 seconds, and hangs again, and so on.
It is completely not usable.

I'd wipe /dalvik and /cache and reflash. Try clearing the cache for camera (Hold HOME -> App Manager -> Find Camera)

GB ROMs are on very very slow development, soon to be ended.

OK,
I've tried to wipe dalvik and cache, and to flash latest 2.4.20 MIUI ROM for Desire S;
nothing, the issue still occurs; camera hangs every 2 seconds.

Hi,
I can confirm it's a software problem.
I've tried to install lgCamera and paper Camera app, and both the apps works fine; camera never hangs.
Is possible to download MIUI camera app and reinstall it?

Thank you in advance.

ok,
but where could I find camera system app?
Should I extract it from the zip of the ROM?

OK, I've uninstalled MIUICamera.apk and copied again from the latest rom in the system/app folder with RootExplorer app.
But the problem still occurs.
I've also tried to copy the camera app of the latest cyanogen rom.
It has the same problem.
I've also downloaded CameraZoom, Camera360 and LGCamera from the market, but all these apps have the problem.

So I've restored default HTC Sense Rom on my phone to be sure it wasn't a phone problem.
The original HTC Desire S camera app works like a charm.
So it definitely a MIUCamera.apk software problem.

Please, how should I do to submit this bug?
Is there a log or something like this I could extract from my device?

Is there nothing available to submit bugs?
I refere to something like Bugzilla, or similar.

Otherwise, is it possible to download MIUI source code in order to debug by myself the app?

Thank you in advance.

Noone could help me in preparing a debug environment to test the issue?

Thank you.
