New Developer Rom Crashes Nikel

Hello dear Mi-Fans, I've had this nikel (Redmin note 4) since christmas and since it came with an unknown rom from the retailer I flashed it with the developer greek community rom. since version 3.16 I have terrible crashing problems, the phone hangs/frezzes/crashes once in a while when I'm using the Instagram App or the Camera App (the one built-in with the ROM) or sometimes even with the Facebook and messenger app and I either have to connect it to my pc and do adb reboot or I have to press down the power button to perform a soft reset. sometimes I'm lucky and I can kill the app, however the phone then shows only 100MB of free ram left (out of 2GB max) this suggests that there is a memory leak.
I currently am on the latest 7.4.6 developer version and the issue persists. Any ideas why this might happen?

Try fastboot developer miui official http://en.miui.com/a-234.html with miflash on PC clean all option and see how it goes after that..
